The Origin of Life with Johan Olsen

Johan Olsen and Birthe Kragelund from SBiNLab at the University of Copenhagen have launched an ambitious research project, where they use proteins to understand the chemistry that sparked life.

In this talk, Johan Olsen will introduce where science on the topic stands today, the project, and the team’s research and experiments in their attempt to shed light on one of the great mysteries in biology.

The project is backed by a €2.5 million grant from the Carlsberg Foundation’s Semper Ardens program.
