Quantum computing – tremendous future opportunities
Quantum computing is a rapidly emerging technology that harnesses the laws of quantum mechanics to solve problems too complex for classical computers. This technology offers tremendous new opportunities for science and technology. Commercial quantum computers are still years away, however researchers are working dedicated to make the dream come true. With these three talks we get an understanding of quantum computer hardware, applications, use and implication for future industry.
Speakers:
Seyed Soheil Mansouri, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, DTU
Yunhong Ding, PhD, Senior Researcher, Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering, DTU
Christian Beenfeldt, DPhil, Project Director, Knowledge Hub Zealand
Date & Time: October 13, 15 - 17
