Another Tech Talk helps grow the local scientific community in Kalundborg

The Tech Talk was led by two speakers: Prof. Solange Mussatto from DTU, who provided a comprehensive overview of biomass conversion technologies, and Louise Bendixsen, a Process Specialist at Meliora Bio, who shared insights into practical applications and innovative products derived from biomass.
Prof. Mussatto opened the session with an enlightening discussion on the theoretical foundations of biomass valorization. She detailed various types of biomass and their potential roles in sustainable development, setting the stage for a richer understanding of the subject.
Following this theoretical groundwork, Louise Bendixsen took a deep dive into the practical aspects of biomass conversion. Highlighting Meliora Bio's efforts in the field, Bendixsen's presentation bridged the gap between academic research and industry practices, showcasing how theoretical concepts are translated into tangible innovations.
The event concluded with an Q&A session, showcasing the participants engagement and gave them the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers. This exchange provided a rare opportunity for attendees to delve deeper into the challenges and opportunities within the field of biomass valorization.
