Christina Papamichail
Job
Associate Process Engineer at Novo Nordisk A/S, Insulin Manufacturing 1 (IM1) Purification, Cleaning & Projects (Kalundborg)
Motivation
The Cleaning In Place (CIP) Process is an integral part of the production, either it is for manufacturing of an active pharmaceutical ingredient or a food product. It requires overall knowledge of all the production processes and their equipment in order to perform CIP. Therefore, as a process engineer, I find working on the Purification, Cleaning & Projects department very appealing, since I will have the opportunity to follow the production on a daily basis. I wanted to apply my knowledge and skills to solve tasks and monitor the performance of CIP in order to maintain a consistent production performance, whereas I am also satisfying my curious nature. In the process engineer position in Purification, Cleaning & Projects, I will have the chance to collaborate with other departments and work on projects that are related to changes in the production and thus changes in CIP process.
