Event: Kalundborg:DOX - March 17.
On the 17. of March we dim the lights and press play on the fascinating and highly relevant documentary Intelligence Rising, a thought-provoking film where thinkers and leaders from countries across the world participate in a geopolitical wargame of AI.
After the screening the audience is invited to participate in a conversation on how AI gradually is becoming a greater part of our lives, and what this means for the way we work, learn, make decisions and our overall being in the world. The conversation is moderated by Nanna Blume, who says:
“Helix Lab has been selected to host the screening and following conversation, due to our central role in bringing technological development, research, industry and human experiences together. We’re very much looking forward to being part of DOX for the first time.”
About the film
Marc Warner is an AI entrepreneur and an expectant father. He has spent most of his life developing artificial intelligence. Now, he spends most of his time wondering whether it was a good idea in the first place. For this reason, he brings together the world’s top thinkers—including Yuval Harari—and leaders from the EU, China, and the USA for a “war game”: a geopolitical role-playing exercise in which participants confront potential scenarios for future global crises.
The result is an incredibly fascinating, eye-opening, and thought-provoking—and not least, highly dramatic—film, where the audience virtually sits at the table as some of the world’s sharpest minds attempt to find answers to the threats posed by both AI and each other. Representatives from the tech industry, the military, and the humanities are also citizens of states with different interests and agendas. Has artificial intelligence set off a zero-sum game, or is it, for once, in everyone’s best interest to play on the same team?
