Four new Tech Talks Spring 2025

Starting February 26th, we’ll be hosting four exciting sessions on cutting-edge topics in biomedical innovation, quantum technology, and more. Join us as experts from leading institutions share their knowledge and insights. These talks are an excellent opportunity for networking, learning, and engaging with the latest advancements. Tech Talks is one of the ways Helix Lab is building a local scientific community.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 this semester: 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 

We kick off with Alexander Huck, Associate Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, who will be presenting on: 

Biomedical Quantum Sensing With a 150 million DKK investment from the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Copenhagen Center for Biomedical Quantum Sensing aims to develop groundbreaking sensors for early disease diagnosis and prevention. Alexander and his team are pioneering quantum sensors using color centers in synthetic diamonds to measure magnetic fields generated by biological processes with high precision. This innovative approach could revolutionize healthcare by enabling non-invasive and highly accurate diagnostic tools.
