Today, the Minister for Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, visited Kalundborg. The visit included Helix Lab, University College Absalon and a site visit to Novo Nordisk Kalundborg. Key stakeholders from other institutions of higher education Technical University of Denmark, University of Copenhagen, Bachelor in Technology Management and Marine Engineering, EUCNV invested in Kalundborg participated as well.
Helix Lab had the pleasure of hosting yet another captivating Tech Talk at Helix Lab. This time, our speaker was Jens Juul Holst, Professor from University of Copenhagen, who took the audience on an interesting journey through his discovery of the GLP-1 hormone.
In January 2021, Helix Lab embarked on the journey of establishing a Research & Education Center in Kalundborg. As we reflect on our progress, we are happy to see Helix Lab has achieved significant milestones since then.

Kalundborg's new Helix Lab education and research centre officially opened on Friday 25 February. The initiative strengthens the collaboration between research and industry in Scandinavia's largest bio-industrial cluster, internationally recognized for industrial sustainability and circular production and home to more than 5,000 industrial workplaces across a number of Denmark's largest companies.

Researchers from the Danish universities and specialists and leaders from the industry in Kalundborg met this week for a Matchmaking Event at Helix Lab.
